- 1 French baguette or Italian bread loaf
- 8 tablespoons butter (softened)
- 6 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)

- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 pound)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- Sliced tomatoes (optional)
- Fresh lettuce leaves (optional)
- Pickled jalapeños (optional)
- Red onion slices (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Pound chicken breasts to even thickness and season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side. Let rest, then slice thinly.
- Cut the bread in half lengthwise. Mix butter, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and Parmesan in a bowl.
- Spread garlic butter on both bread halves. Bake butter-side up for 8–10 minutes until golden.
- Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, honey, garlic, and oregano for the sauce. Set aside.
- Place cheese slices on bottom half of hot bread to melt. Spread sauce on top half.
- Layer chicken over melted cheese. Add optional toppings like tomato, lettuce, or avocado.
- Close sandwich, slice, and serve warm. For extra crispiness, wrap in foil and bake another 3–5 minutes.

- For best texture, store garlic bread and fillings separately. Assemble just before serving.
