- 1 cup Chile Soaking Water
Instructions
- Clean and toast the dried chiles in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Submerge the toasted chiles in hot water for 15-20 minutes.
- In a blender, combine the rehydrated chiles with garlic, onion, cumin, oregano, apple cider vinegar, fresh lime juice, and a bit of the soaking water. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the blended mixture into a saucepan and heat over low for 10-15 minutes.
