- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- ¾ teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1 ¼ cups Finely Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Chill 1 cup of buttermilk in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
- Melt the butter in the microwave, then let it cool slightly.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
- Stir in cheddar cheese and chives.
- Combine cold buttermilk with melted butter, then stir into dry ingredients until just combined.
- Knead the dough briefly on a floured surface, then pat it into a 6-inch square, about 1.5-2 inches thick.
- Cut out biscuits with a cutter and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter and garnish with chives before serving.
