  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • ½ cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • ½ cup bittersweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. If using homemade dough, prepare and chill it. Otherwise, press your store-bought pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and bourbon until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in the toasted pecans and bittersweet chocolate chips.
