Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, espresso, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips (optional).
