Instructions
- Make the Dough: Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a large bowl; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add melted butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually add flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead for 6-8 minutes until smooth and slightly tacky. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Prepare the Filling: Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. On a floured surface, roll dough into a 16×12 inch rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Shape and Slice: Roll dough up tightly, starting from the long side. Pinch the seam to seal. Cut into 12 even rolls. Arrange rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Second Rise: Cover the pan and let the rolls rise for about 30 minutes until puffy.
- Bake Cinnamon Rolls: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Make the Icing: Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla; mix until creamy.
- Ice & Serve: Spread icing over warm cinnamon rolls. Serve immediately.
