  • Optional: sliced tomatoes and crispy bacon

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. Combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a dish.
  3. Dredge chicken in the flour mixture, coating thoroughly.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Transfer chicken to a plate lined with paper towels to drain.
  7. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Whisk dressing until smooth and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Toast bread slices until golden brown.
  10. Spread Caesar dressing on one side of each slice of bread.
  11. Layer chopped romaine lettuce on two slices of bread.
