  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 (6-inch) flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and cook according to packet directions.
  4. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, salsa, and cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
  5. Add the cheese mixture to the cooked ground beef and stir until everything is coated and creamy.
  6. Lay out one tortilla. Spoon about 1/4 cup of the beef and cheese mixture onto one half of the tortilla.
  7. Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling to create a pocket.
  8. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  9. Place the filled pocket tacos on a baking sheet.
  10. Brush the tops of the tacos with melted butter.
  11. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
