  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter, and egg until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined to form a slightly sticky dough.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Spread the brown sugar and optional nuts evenly over the dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly from the long side to create a log.
  8. Slice the log into 1 to 1.5-inch thick rolls.
  9. Place the pumpkin cinnamon rolls in a greased baking dish, leaving space between them.
  10. Let the rolls rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes to puff up.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  12. Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving.
